Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: email address and name via Clerk when you sign up.

Formation data: your assessment responses, examen entries, Rule of Life, and family profile — stored in our Turso database associated with your account.

AI input:text you submit to AI features (examen reflection, parenting reflection, couple wonder) is sent to Anthropic to generate a response. We do not store AI conversations beyond what you see on screen. Anthropic’s privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details.

2. How we use it

Your formation data exists to serve you. We use it to:

• Personalize AI reflections to your type and family
• Persist your profile across sessions and devices
• Send transactional emails (receipt, account notices) via Resend

We do not sell your data. We do not use your formation content for advertising. We do not build profiles of third parties you mention (children, partners) — their data exists only as context for your reflection.

3. Data sharing

We share data only with the vendors required to operate:

• Clerk — authentication
• Turso — database storage
• Anthropic — AI reflection generation
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email
• Vercel — hosting

4. Cookies

Clerk uses session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. If you are in the EU, using the app implies consent to Clerk’s session cookie.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing matt@gatherstudio.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Children

Attune is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Family profile features (names and types of children) are entered by adult users about their own children and are stored in the adult’s account only.

7. Security

Data is stored in encrypted Turso databases. Authentication is managed by Clerk. We take reasonable measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.
